Kosé. A soapbox for minumalists
A major Japanese cosmetics manufacturer.
This emblem has been in use for 30 years, and its creator, Saul Bass, is a legend.
Graphically, it consists of two identical shapes with distinctive curves, one of which is tilted at a 45° angle.
The curves suggest soap bars (the shape hasn't changed much in 30 years, by the way). The arrangement and rotation of the shapes create the letter K. An alternative K can be seen in the negative space between the soap bars.
